English Conversation Groups


For people of non-english speaking background. Participants come and practise their english conversation skills in a caring, non-threatening environment. (small groups)

  • Venue: The Salvation Army, Parramatta. Function Centre
  • Time: Thursdays (school terms) 10am – 12 noon.

The team of helpers is made up of Corps personnel as well as interested people from the community. There is a topic prepared each week with associated language activities. This material comes in manual form and can be obtained through the Parramatta Corps. The manual has enough topics to cover a full year.
