Golden Years


For adults who have retired or are ‘thinking about it’! No age restriction, but generally over 55.

  • Meeting:
    • 2nd Tuesday of each month (excluding January)
    • In Function Centre
    • Come at 10am for morning tea, then the meeting 10.30am - 12 noon

  • Bus Outing:
    • 4th Tuesday of each month (excluding January and December)
    • Bookings made at monthly Golden Years meeting.
    • Meet at Phillip Street entry.
    • Usually 9.00am – 3.00pm (approx)

Meetings are open to everyone. Each month there is a featured guest – either a speaker or a performer. Other regular features include a sing-a-long, tonic talk, ‘5 minutes with John’, birthday acknowledgements, missionary stall and so much more!

Bus outings are also open to anyone still agile enough to get on and off the bus and handle the walking involved at the venue on the day. The variety of locations visited is wonderful and costs are kept as low as possible. These are quality outings at budget prices!
